All high school seniors should complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Information from the FAFSA will produce a Student Aid Report (SAR).  The SAR will determine the effective family contribution (EFC) for your student for the following academic year. Colleges use the information from FAFSA to determine financial aid packages. Students may begin completing the FAFSA on January 1st of their senior year. March 1st  is the standard priority date for submitting the report. Information regarding the FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov
