Garces Memorial High School has provided superior Catholic education for the last sixty years. Founded by the Christian Brothers of De la Salle and the Dominican Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas, the mission of Garces Memorial High School has always been to educate youth to fulfill the mission of Christ. Garces Memorial is committed to developing students spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically while instilling respect, integrity, compassion and courage of faith.
With a student enrollment of over 700 students coming from all over Kern County, Garces Memorial is proud of our vital role in shaping the lives of so many. Students united with parents, staff, faculty, alumni and supporters create the Garces Memorial community. This greater community involvement assists Garces Memorial in providing the best Catholic college preparatory environment available in the Central Valley.
Today, we face new and pressing needs that must be addressed to maintain and enhance the level of excellence that has come to be expected from Garces Memorial High School. Through careful planning Garces has determined the critical need to provide our students and teachers with the space, facilities and support that are commensurate with our mission in the 21st Century. The school’s vision is broad reaching and at every phase will assist generations of Garces students.
Therefore, the school has launched Fund the Future, A Garces Memorial High School Campaign for Excellence in Catholic Education. Fund the Future is the vehicle that will help us obtain the funding necessary to see the Garces Memorial High School Vision become a reality.
