Girls Water Polo Wins Tournament

Congratulations to the Garces Girls Water Polo Team!  They took first place at the Sunnyside Tournament and Garces Ram Caroline Kerwin was named the tournament MVP.  Jordyn Pavletich and Hailee Patrick were named All-Tournament.  Members of the team are:  Breann Bonkosky, Allison Gonzales, Emma Hawkins, Caroline Kerwin, Caroline Lee, Mikayla Marks, McKenzie Marks, Claudia Millar, Hailee Patrick, Jordyn Pavletich, Renee Ramirez, Molly Soper,  Calista Tanuwijaya, and Blaire Williams.

Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy Visits
House of Representatives Majority Leader, Congressman Kevin McCarthy, visited Garces on Tuesday, October 14th - Toga Day during Homecoming Week.   Congressman McCarthy came and spoke with Mr. Geissel's AP Econ/Government Class.  The Congressman discussed current events and answered the students questions.  It was great to have a Washington leader on our campus encouraging our students to take an active interest in current events. 
Ram for a Day

Garces hosted future Rams at its annual Ram for a Day.  The 8th graders enjoyed a rally, student performances, classroom visits, lunch by the pool, a scavenger hunt, and learned Garces school chants and cheers!
