As Athletic Director for Garces Memorial High School, I am very proud to be a part of this wonderful Catholic school and the tradition of athletic excellence that this school engenders. The Garces athletic program strives to create experiences which instill Christian values, foster positive attitudes and behaviors, and provide opportunities to enhance the total development of the student-athlete. Our Athletic Program offers 37 athletic teams in 11 different sports from the freshmen to varsity level and fills over 70 coaching positions. Through the pursuit of excellence in sport and faith in God, Garces aims to build respect, integrity, compassion, and courage of faith. In so doing, Garces Athletic pursues “Victory with Honor,” a program that emphasizes the building of character and ethics in sport. Our school is committed to never compromise the objectives of the Garces mission for sport success. In this sense, “Victory” is always achieved because it is a victory of Christian character - and that is the true measure of success. |
