Garces Memorial's Special People Play Day is an exciting day for all. Over 600 special needs children from all over Kern County are invited on the Garces campus for a day of fun! Garces students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni participate by setting up and running game booths and activities for the kids to enjoy.

The Special People Play Day is scheduled for April 8, 2011 this year. The children will begin to arrive at 8:00 a.m., with games and activities lasting until noon. Garces Memorial would like to have Alumni participate and if you are interested in hosting a booth for the special needs children to enjoy please contact:
